(More customer reviews)I got this adapter for a Sony satellite-ready AM/FM/CD deck (CDXGT630UI) and it works great along with the NP2000UC XM Direct2 satellite receiver. Since I bought the deck at BestBuy, I had them install this adapter, the NP2000UC, and the deck. The adapter provides seamless integration between the deck and the XM receiver. Since the adapter and XM receiver are installed behind the dash, there are no cigarette lighter plug-ins for the XM radio and no unsightly wires hanging about, as I had previously with an XM "Roady2" add-on.
Per AudioVox support, this adapter works with all of the CDXGT6* series of decks, even though their support document that lists compatible decks doesn't list it (the doc's not quite up to date).
