(More customer reviews)I bought this antenna to replace the original which was 3 years old. It is similar to the original and was needed because the wires are very small where they plug into the radio holder station. The same thing happened with the wire that plugs into the car socket for power. The wires just broke off. I now keep them straight because any twisting will cause this to happen again. It works well and I was glad they still make this product for older radios.
